The regular contract is one month which expires automatically.
Negotiating autopayment makes it recurring on a month-to month basis.

Gyms offer optional initial contracts of 3 / 6 / 12 / 24 months which also expire automatically.
Payment is on a monthly or optional quarterly basis.
The contract is being converted to a monthly version with no change in pricing after the initial period.
Cancel any time after the initial period with a four week notice.

    CENTURIO STATUS: The year you turn 100 years of age can change your life. Gyms can offer you 100% discount on your membership fee. This is what we call the CENTURIO status. It is valid for all gyms everywhere. Your personal ID is all you need. This ID can be a national ID card, a passport, a drivers license, or any official ID. There are no new Centurios in gyms with TriState status.
    TRISTATE STATUS (TSS): Gyms can receive a TRISTATE status (TSS) for internal reasons. TSS means that such a gym cannot alter any condition as long as this status is in action. No change in contracts, service, equipment, hours. They must not change anything. They must not get better or worse. The gym is frozen in its state. People can sign or cancel contracts as usual but the fees and wages do not change in either direction. There is a minimum age of 21. Centurio status cannot be acquired any longer. Benefits of any kind are disabled instantly with the TSS activation. Such gyms have to pass a test to get rid of TSS.
